Driving across Montana today on I90 I counted 8 Prime flatbeds. I was really surprised to see so many up here in Big Sky country.

Its not impossible... Ive dropped in Orlando. We do have some runs that go down into Fl. Mainly Cat loads go down there, from my experience.

Load of paper from Lawton Ok to Gyspsum Colorado. Heavy load. Up over the mountain just before Vail, then up over Vail. Dropped, pull around building, reload with sheet rock, back up over Vail, then back up over the other one... MPG...3.92

My buddy in flatbed live in Slidell, LA. He was on a run for about 6 months in and out of Florida, he is a Lease Operator. He said something about Prime losing an A/C contract but that Prime was working on getting it back, so I would said it "should" not be a big problem every 4-5 weeks.

I average over 2500 miles a week easy. Last week was 32## something. This week is looking like a 35## mile week. Plus all the extra pay. Company drivers get 1 day off for every week out. Minimum of bein out for 3 weeks. Ill be staying out til the company picinic.
