Not sure I'd want to run team with a trainer that had chest pains. What did you do to her?

Just kidding and I hope she'll be ok...

She's ok. Just a pulled muscle, thank goodness! Probably happened on her vacation before I got on the truck. She was at the beach. We've been getting the miles, that's for sure! Now we're just outside of OK City area on 69. Not at all sure exactly where. I've never seen a company that will run you thru the back door instead of down the interstates before just to save a few bucks in tolls. Seems to me that all the extra wear and tear from the rough roads would be worse? We are headed to Dallas from the caves in Springfield MO. WoW is all I can say about that place! I wouldn't want to have to work in there every day. Pretty cool, though! Y'all be safe!

us69 is a pretty good route, only lots of stop lights for the ma & pa towns, I usually drive down there at night, being a night driver.

    Good to hear.

I've never been to those caves but I'd like to go at least once.

Let me tell ya, USX has nothing on CRST when it comes to routing you on backroads.

I picked up at the caves last month...took pictures inside to show my son...it is really something down in there.

We have the cold storage caves in Carthage, too, but I've only seen them from the outside and above. Springfield told me that theirs is about twice as big as ours and a lot easier to get around in.

See, you got it right about "experienced" drivers.

Most forget that they didn't always know everything. It's sad. The experienced ones should be helping out the new drivers with all the info they can.

The idea of two new or fairly new people together is fine. As long as they both look out for each other. As it should be anytime more than one person is in the truck.

I wish you good luck in your carreer. ;)

PLUS, two rookies can share their info/training/experience with each other...........I would think that's an advantage!

well, Pattyj...what you haven't seen happens...I know of 2 different people who got hauled away from a company I used to work for. And I know of one guy getting hauled out of a company from sioux city where you live. so think what you want...I was trying to give Jeff some honest advice. Didnt think to care that you wouldn't agree.
