Dispatch and driver managers aside, TA has lived up to their word on guaranteed hometime ....to the door. My husband would love it if he had the option to be out one week instead of two. We also have two beautiful kids at home, Sweeper. I will have to ask husband but I believe Olathe does have local drivers ....but it is not a full time position.
-
i might not be correct but only local guys i see there are older guys retired from OTR moving stuff around. they dont have a dedicated bunch of drivers doing local runs that they hire for. Bunny and Peaches are the 2 I am thinking about
-
I scheduled home time for Wednesday evening, we'll see if I get there or not.

i put in the day before i need to be there so i am sure to be there by the next day it has worked ok so far. My son's HS graduation is the 8th so i asked for 7-9 off too bad i gotta see the ex lol

Sooo ...husband was dispatched on a load to Baldwinsville, New York. He gets there, waits 23 hours, the load is cancelled. His dm sends him a pretrip ....pick up in Baldwinsville ....are you ready? .....5 days later. Night dispatch calls husband, asks him what is going on, husband tells them, so they dispatch him to pick up a load in Pa.. He drives all night, gets there this morning and the pick up number is wrong. Sends two messages with no response so tries to call ....after 45 minutes on hold his dm picks up phone and says .....I have to go to a meeting so I am going to put you on hold!!!!
What is going on in
Olathe?????!!!!! -
last weekend i had the same thing happen in baldwinsville we had 13 trucks there I thought it was a computer mess up but now again this weekend hmmmmmmmmmmmm i dunno

Husband wasn't too upset about waiting on the first load for 23 hours .....but now being told to wait for 5 days was a bit beyond his comprehension! LOL Luckily the night time guys got him moving again. But then this morning to have his dm tell him she was going to put him on hold while she went to a meeting kindof blew his mind
He got to move that load 47 miles before she swapped it off of him. Guess she got mad when she got back from her meeting and realized he wasn't still on hold!

the dm's have had meetings all week something is going on but we out here are mushrooms kept in the dark and fed bs
my dm takes good care of me i run into the crap nights and weekends. I can only be as good as i get dispatched
