This is a company I'm interested in as well, but have to get some more OTR experience before I apply.

    Actually love OTR so far.

Finished my physical therapy test today. The test was actually fairly simple and most any grown man should be able to pass it. As soon as my results come back in, me and the TM will discuss a start date.

Can you give details about the test?

    I have some physical limitations.

I had to simulate getting in and out of a truck by going up and down a step ladder 5-10 times. Simulate walking up steps for about 5-10 minutes. Lift boxes with multiple weights in it, I had to do a did lift and lift it above my head and different range of motions. Simulated crawling under a trailer, had a tape measurer and couldn't have my back go above a certain mark. While these tests were being conducted they would check my heart rate at the end of certain exercises. The whole test lasted about 1 hour.

    Jackofalltrades1977 Thanks this.

    I'm screwed.

Guess I'll scratch them off the list.

    Thanks for the info.

The lady(receptionist) at the testing center told me I was the first one to come in there for eagle. Either they(Eagle) have just changed testing centers, she has a bad memory or it's a new policy Eagle just implemented. The trainer/tester was really nice and we talked a lot while I was there. He explained more and more companies ate starting to go to this to help reduce future workers compensation claims. The job I currently have is probably 2 times more physical than pulling tankers so I wasn't really worried about any aspect of the test.

Since July 2010. I run at night. Less of a hassle at the racks and less traffic after 10pm most places.

Your fixing to get your 2nd week of vacation.

That's the shift I would prefer to work to. The TM told me I had to work that shift when I started but I told him that's the one I wanted anyway, he chuckled and said that shift runs quite a few of applicants off. I ran for Waccamaw for a brief amount of time and that's the shift I ran for them. You can usually squeeze an extra load in compared to say shift just from not having to wait at the racks, traffic or the gas stations.
