I have a 550hp 2WS also. It runs 190 on water temp. 65 pounds of oil pressure at 1400 RPM. Identical EGT's to yours.
-
The coolant temps are a little low. This could be the gauge in the dash or a thermostat that is opening to early. I'd recommend changing the thermostats every 350,000 miles anyway
-
Ok I'll change the thermostats the inframe has about 300k but it hasn't been run much the last 2 years so I figured there would be some bugs to work out. Thanks all for the replys
-
My guess would be the gauge is off. I say that, because the temp gauge in my 2003 Pete was 20* off compared to the Cat ID. Certainly a good idea to replace the thermostats as well though.
-
Well so far 5.8 mpg's at close or maybe a few pounds over 80k. Sure is alot differant than the old truck almost feels like I need to learn to drive all over again, sometimes feeling like a rookie getting into tight docks
Defentaly helps to keep her wound up alittle more than I was at 1st on the big hills.
-
I have a 6NZ. I run 1600 RPM on hard pulls, keeps exhaust temp lower. The lower my RPM the faster the EGT goes up.
-
Let me see if this works

Hey finally figured out how to post pictures, guess there is hope for an old guy to learn something new lol
