No violations were found, wrote my log book the way it was requored in Canada(got
a compliment from the inspecting officer for having everything right, legible
and easily visible)
Now
Does this report count on my score here in the states
I would assume so,but I'm not sure
I got inspected at a Scale House in Canada a few weeks ago

Did they give you a form stating that you had been inspected? If so, it should be a positive for your CSA.

Yep..(one hand written because their printer dies, and a computer print out they faxed over to my office)
Thanks

Ontario? You must be good. A clean inspection is unheard of here. At least for me

doesnt ontario still have that stupid law that you have toi have a 3 meter wheel base on the tractor if you're pulling a 53 footer or you are over lenght? i got nailed for that years ago when i started driving with schneider, and i had one of the older cabovers with the shorter wheel base.

I frequently cross at Sarnia and deliver to Bradford off the 400 . They have nailed me twice for "violations" that passed inspections at 3 U.S. scales . The Supercoops on the 402 had 6 U.S. trucks OOS one Sunday and the service truck that came out fixed them all in less than 30 minutes each charging a minimum of $300 each .
I've been crossing there for 3 years and only seen the Supercoop open 4 times . I've been checked at Trafalcar twice and Putnam 3 times . Had the speed limiter checked each time .
First things they check on U.S. drivers is past 14 days' logs , at least a 36 hour restart and license plate number of tractor and trailer must be on the log . We have to enter the license plate numbers on our pretrip on e-logs if we are going into Canada .
