I've been in the work force a loooooong time. I have never encountered a employee that was happy with their job and in good standing with the company complain about the job. Obviously, the unhappy and not in good standing employee's out number their counterparts 12 to 1. Some of us have learned that a company is in business to make money. You can jump on and get some or you can do your own thing and wonder why you get dumped on. Life ain't fair, deal with it and go _itch to someone who cares. Most of you don't need a new company, you need a new career. I'm sure you voice the same complaints regardless of your trucking employer. Grow up! Take responsibility for your life. No one's going to take care of you but you. And all you whiners out there.......don't join the Army. We don't like whiners. That would be directed to at least 12 to 1 of you all.

If you think this is fun, try the JBS thread that is 600+ pages. It's General hospital with truck drivers. :biggrin_2559: At least everyone here hasn't lost their minds......

I'm a retired bus driver out of NYC in a trucking school. I have a couple of prehires one of which is USA Trucking. Thinking seriously about going with them because I just want to get started working again, also considering Watkins N Sheppard. I stumbled across this blog thing to find answers so far I've read complaining and B---hing from a lot of children.Ridinwithpride u are a breath of fresh air and a person that realizes that companies are in business to make a bottom line (profit) and will pay u to help them do this. Some of these people (truck drivers ) out there should try driving a transit bus in NYC for 20 yrs and then they would have something to B---h about. Yea try riding with ur cargo gives u the finger, does'nt pay his/her fare, cabbies cut u off , ur cargo stands right next to u on a crowed bus with his/her i pod blasting that annoying rap music or on there cell phones in ur ear. Yea,try that that for a while. Hope I can hear more words of real men out there who know that,Hey it"s a job. Pay the bills the rent/mortgage, buy food, clothes etc and enjoy ur family and friends when u can.Loke I said I like USA Truck because they don't have along training period,Prime 80k miles before solo...Wow! Can u tell anything else about USA Trucking? Would appreciate it. gryhoundone

You have to be kidding. How can you judge all the people who have submitted complaints about USA Truck as slackers and think one guy who doesn't complain is the only man in the group? I know that companies are out to make money! They don't have to walk on people to do it! Driving the bus couldn't have been to bad if you did it for 20 years! I would tell you what I think about USA Truck, but you wouldn't like it, so I'm not going to waste my time. You just keep listening to the propaganda that "Ridinwithpride" is spewing out!

Everyone knows life isn't fair! I bet you only served 3 or 4 years in the Army. People who make comments like yours "don't join the Army" are the ones who couldn't handle it and got out after their first enlistment. USA truck makes the Army look like a convent. I'll borrow one of your lines. Deal with it! A proud 20 year Army Retiree and (thank God) a "former" USA Truck driver.

I think some of you need to go back and re-read some of what Ridinwithpride has posted. I have never seen anywhere in any of his posts on this forum where he has said USA Truck does not have problems. Ridinwithpride just channels his frustrations in what he thinks is a more positive way.

    Thomas0810 and Cascadiagirl Thank this.

    They don't care
All they see is that he has been there 20 years, so there MUST be something wrong with him
