What To Look For In A CB Radio?

Have you been taking practice tests on hamacademy.com? ARRL also has alot of great prep.

 

ARRL is one if my study sites, yep.

I'll tell you one thing. After cleaning up all the loss in my system and making everything more efficient, the range gains off just this 100 watt amp are crazy.

 

Yeah but thats 100+ pep your going to get RANGE with that, plus knockdown power. The only real use I have with 200+ pep is when people are just sitting there talking about nothing and curseing up a storm then I key out and stomp all over them.

 

Actually, that's 100 watts carrier. I get more range than big exports with only 25-30 watts of carrier but 200 pep. They're louder, but I reach out and touch them.

 

Are you just going for tech or tech and general for your license?

 

Do you have a dosy in your truck? It would be fun to know what your punchin out there.
