I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a diagram of the power plug
to connect from the tractor to the trailer. Thanks

The wire colors are marked at the terminals they go to on the plug or is there some other reason you need a diagram?

some trailers are with addiional plug, it is used for rear fog lamps and reverce lamp.
Trailer EBS ore ABS may be powered with 5 way ore 7 way (with CAN) cabel. ABS wiring is manufacter specific, becouse different control units has different connectors

I'm guessing he may need to know what each colour is for.

Thanks for all your input. I was wondering if there was an auxillary on there, or I was thinking maybe to put in a second plug. I wanted to put some more lights on the trailer, but not add them to existing lights. I wanted to add another switch on the dash for them. Thanks again

    Use LED with you wiring.

additional plug is used for reverce light and rear foglamp. Central wire of auxially plug is ACC Power, was used as ABS/EBS powe supply on early trailers with ABS/EBS. Now 5 way and 7way ABS connectors are used) EU connector differs becouse they use 24V ABS power supply, to avoid overvoltage damage (LOL LOL LOL_)

We have a couple of customers that have extra work lights on their trailers and they just use those simple 4 pin mini cords for those lights. If you want to add in extras like that you are kinda stuck installing a second cord of some kind. Usually the center pin is reserved for an extra function like lights or a lift axle, but newer trailers now use this for ABS power.

Generally central pin is reserve ABS power supply now, but all new ABS and EBS units got brake light emergency power supply.

extra light, reverce light, and rear fog lamp are all on addtional plug. The difference tha ground connector is not a "hole", but pin) on female connector))) LOL)

In Europe 13 pin connectors (all in one) may be used.

Thanks again. I wanted to try to add lights on the inside of the trailer. I was thinking of running small LED strips all along the top sides with a switch in the cab, so I guess a smaller plug would do the trick.
