bluebon???

Let me see here---today was the last official day of orientation and I'm still here,checked back into the hotel because my driver code hasn't come back yet.So back over to the terminal in manana to wait on that.and I am guessing that they will then decide what to do with me since my mentor was-is on his way to yankeeland (it shouldn't be the mason-dixon line it should be the mason-dixon wall)anyway depending on how long it'll take them to get him back here I am not sure if they'll put me on a bus back to Austin to await his arrival ,wait for him here or meet him enroute somewhere.The good news is that I was told that I am paired with the guy that says his truck is a dog going uphill--yep I'll be in bluebonn's vehichle,I'm pretty sure He can teach this old dog some new tricks.

 

On another note I have met some good people on this site and have also received a lot of help, advice and support from a lot of you!Sometimes I think about some of the things that I have learned already just from reading the different threads.I have also met and spoken with quite a few good people in my "class" and at the terminal itself.Could it be that with all this grey hair people already think I am an oldtimer in the biz and are just humoring the old codger (just kidding) anyway I want to thank everyone and wish you all well!!! son of a gun--got to the terminal this morning and found out that I had apparently had too much water b4 the drug screen,so am now sitting here waiting to do it again,then will probably be sent back home since it's a holiday weekend they won't get the results back till tues and they'll route my mentor to meet up in Austin.Atleast they have told blue what is going on so I won't be the cause of messing up his schedule,was kinda worried about that.homeward bound now after i get a ride to the grey dog.

 

Sorry about the inconveinence Blue,Dan told me to call him tuesday A.M. around 9--10 to check-in maybe get my code or you would have it when you got in the area.I did get to meet Inkeper at the terminal this morning,he was right ---that dayglo orange hat is tough to miss.

 

Called lancaster a couple times this morning and got one call back so far---still waiting for drug screen results-oh wait a minute just got another call---they're working on some more paper work putting in the computer,they;ll call again a bit later.Waiting and anxiety go hand in hand don't they?I'm sure they will know the location of my mentor.

 

Welllll I called this A.M and got the word that everything is ok but they have been having computer problems since yesterday and to give Dan another call around 2-3,and so it goes on and on and on.Atleast all this stuff is not interfering with Bluebonn too much,last I heard from him he was still in Indiana but heading this way

 

Dan called back,gave me my driver code now it's down to setting up a "meet" time and place..One more thing knocked off the list
