I live in that area and this is all over the news. Look for Davis to get hit with a Conditional at best, possibly worse.

Publix is one of their main customers and you know that Publix will not tolerate this. I bet Davis loses Publix for good.

 

OMG bypassing scales AND using a phone? I bet that's what actually happened in Hiroshima, it wasn't the bomb that killed everyone. It was a trucker driving an 80,100 # truck (without buying a piece of paper saying it was ok) and he worked more hours than a pencil pusher behind a desk in washington thought he should!

A tray table and a reclined seat is what really brought down the Hindenburg.

I think people are getting two different companies confused. I don't think this is the same Davis that does a lot of Publix loads. They are Davis Express. according to this article this is Davis Transfer.

I don't know. Could be I guess. I've seen a lot of Davis Express at Publix. Never saw Davis Transfer.

 

I talked to one of their drivers in Unadilla last summer and he said they were already on e logs? If that's true it just goes to show no matter how many laws and regulations there are there's always ways around them
