One thing I must say is " when it comes to trucking, there is no perfect company, the best trucking company is the one that works for YOU

 

After reading this I'd have to say this post was exaggerated either in part or whole....
I've been with Knight Refrigerated for over 5 yrs
and seen alot different than what I hear or read 99% of the time
Badly damaged abandoned trucks, you usually tough it out until you get it to a shop and from there its repaired or traded with a better conditioned and as for the trainer ( I'm assuming you went thru the Squire program) as soon as any incident is reported, the trainer is ordered to stop the truck and immediate action is taken. All and all whether you have one day experience or 25 yrs, you ARE THE CAPTAIN of your ship and any valid reasons for not taking your truck out safely is backed by safety. - Owner/Operator Knight Refrigerated

 

You run out of the home terminatel, they actually operate by the company book. The little kings at the other terminals do not. Pa is the worst one. I have a friend that drives out of new jersey next time I run into him will be his last weeks with knight, I have a new job lined up for him.

 

Camden is hardly a terminal, like Denver, Reno and Egan, Mn, and Lakeland, none of those yards have shops, it really doesn't take much to get a truck to a terminal and get your truck traded in or repaired

 

If you actually READ his story, that was a different truck!

 

Well thanks Tracy finally somebody with experience to talk about a company...I'll being reading many posts about companies most of them from newbies with no idea about what's gonna happen and it drives me crazy because I am applying for a couple of companies JCT (I am not enrolled with them I need more paperwork) MARTEN (they say they are waiting for me to put me on orientation) and USA Truck (they are ready to orientation too) but I just do not know for which one decide even when I would like to find an small company any advice will be greatly appreciated.

 

Once...I was waiting for somebody to finish to wash my car....on the mean time he was trying to be amicable with me....I seemed to be badly beaten on his body with fresh scarfs here and there...he told me that he was getting out from a bar walking drunk on the sideway and some ...people or assss piked on him bated him bad and stole his money....but until he was telling me his history like "look world is not fair" I was thinking...poor man he can't realize is his own fault...same thing with you Cj hope to read about someone with BETTER ATTITUDE and have something positive to say and positive means "real" but seeing the glass half full....see ya
