Wave as you pass Rolla, MO. I am on terminal hold with dispatch....only one call ahead of me...for the last 37 minutes.
My chance of getting a load are somewhere between slim dim and none.

Just crossed Elk Mountain, wind was a bit gusty, but not terrible. Glad it had calmed a bit from the predictions.

It will be a long wave. Ran KS 156 up to I70. Shortest and quickest route I have found.

Scaled the load as I came out of tyson steers 11800, drives plus steers 41200. Oh no that is to heavy on my drives. Scaled at the cat scale and said duh. My math sucked. Plan on running 600 miles on monday since the skelton crew will be working again. Puts me just short of indy. Then see what two-monday brings.

Running the 31 miles from Salem MO to Rolla, MO today, the QC took a crap again.
put it back together once I was parked and it came back. But all that drive time? It logged it as OFF DUTY.
So nearly 45 mins of drive time disappeared.
Now I know I should be able to edit this and fix it, however, this morning I edited OFF into DRIVE...not once...but twice.
Safety asked me no to touch these things again and wait until tuesday.
They spent nearly 40 mins on the phone trying to edit it before they made everything SLEEPER and told me to approve it.
I scanned in my log sheets. Donna can use whichever set she wants.

    box of rocks...over and out.

Got a preplan while still in route to delivery in Calihood. Tried listening to the message over the qualcomm, think i do it just for laughs, but i get pick out the basics: PU 5/26@1200, DEL 5/30@1500, pickup at Colton yard and going to Murfreesboro, 8 empty, 1980 loaded.

Remembering that I got the dreaded chance card from my DM Friday: go straight to jail (yard) and do not pass go.

Hmmmmm... Well, you gotta catch me first, before i get to Murfreesboro! beep beep! ;)

    Dispatch strikes again!
Got a dispatch to pickup from Kraft in Columbia City, MO and take to Ontario, CA.
    Pickup 1100 yesterday.
Figure it's a drop and hook, so head off.
Plant closed. Guard looks it up and says, "Live load. You'll need to reschedule the appointment. can't just turn up."
So here I am in Kingdom City, MO waiting until tomorrow so someone can decide what to do.
Oh, did I tell you that on time delivery is out the window too?

Meanwhile, Boxofrocks here has figured out he's doing the time right, but can't remember where the little boxes you're suppose to check when doing the DOT tractor and trailer exams. I did the time, but just simply said PTI.
Also was looking over the previously approved things. Said I drove 8 hours and did 16 miles. (drove from Dallas to Springfield, MO).
Time is right...good thing they don't use that to pay miles!
Then today it said I drove 122 miles in 1 hour and 16 minutes.
That should send compliance into orbit!
    But I'm not compressing! :biggrin_25512:

    Corporal_Clegg Thanks this.

Now that goes to show that the box of rocks was installed on your truck.

Arnt all kraft loads show up when we please? At least dispatch thinks so.

Compose message 58 and 59 are your dot inspection reports.

I am still adjusting to a working system. I miss knowing what day it is, as I wrote it down each morning. Same with where am I. And how many hours do I have on my 70, what's coming back for the next days, so I can trip plan for otd.

I knew every evening before going to bed as I finished out the days paper log. All on one page, now I have to navigate multipUle screens. A driver had no input into the design of the system.

And why do I have to do a daily check call? That should be automated.

My complaints exactly. Im confused as hell about where I am on my 70. Im gonna have to start writing it down every day like I did in my logs. And all the back and fourth through different screens is a big pain in the back side.
