#1 Rollback wrecker. (fun ain't always cheap)

#2 Be creative with the load, , if you can let it hang off the front or back 3 feet.

 

I have a additional alternative solution to the OP's dilemma... Ride the #### thing there.
Last I heard it was called bike week, not trailer week.


I find it amazing how many here have something to say about people that ride Harley's , I'm here to say your no better then those your talking about.... Bc if you were a real rider, you wouldn't care what the other person rode as long as they rode. As far as what they're wearing ? Hahaha Black leather, brown leather or maybe some fancy speed gear... whatever.
What are you guys... the fashion police ?

Truth be known, bikes are nothing more then an extension of your manhood, just like your trucks...

Look, I ride because I like to ride and I prefer to ride alone... In fact I rode to Sturgis and back, 3500 miles in 11 days 5 yrs ago.
The group I met up with up there were/are truck drivers from all over the country. I might even go back again this year and again I will ride if I go and trust me, you can tell who rode theirs and who trailered their bikes only rode a couple hundred miles.

However if you don't like the crowds, which are bad, go earlier or later and not get ripped off at every turn.

Just ride....

 

Most men that go to Sturgis are more interested in what some people are not wearing.

 

If the cost of the campground is whats getting to ya some are not that bad camp rush-no-more was 120 a person for six days last time I paid to stay aswell as a bunch of others if ya look around say belle fource or new castle if ya mite have to ridibe a bit but aint that the point

 

I rode mine from nc to sturgis sd twice first time 2003 and again 2004 - both trips 10 days on two wheels and 4000 miles- boy was my butt sore -we stayed at the buffalo chip campground in sturgis in a tent 4 days 5 nites- we stayed in hotels on the way out and back and the entertainment was great at the campground (professional and non professional) there are bike transport companies out there to safely take your bike out there and back home- good luck and have a great time- i did!

 

I stayed. In a hotel the first time and ended up at friends campgrounds anyhow as thats were the fun is so ever sincea I just take a tent andmake sure there is money in the bank last couple trips I was lucky as my cousin. Had a house in blackhawk and we would just invade the back yard and steal his hottub for the week I'm still crying about him selling

 

Sorry i have nothing against people who RIDE Harleys. It's the poser bikers who can't ride or won't ride they just have a harley to be a biker, I've ridden all over north America and have owned well over 100 bikes I buy fix restore sell I just love bikes. It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I have 5 bikes now in various states of repair a 900'ninja going to be little bros bike when I get it back together, a 1971 A1Ss scrambler I'm restoring, an old z1 I'm going to restore, my nomad which is my everyday ride, And I am negotiating on an old BSA that's in boxes right now. Can't get enough.
