Its starting to get exhausting. Got an appointment for this my first drop.... Monday til 1500.... Almost sent um a message back "keep dreaming". Told dispatch when I was given this load I couldnt make it Monday.

 

Yes that dg in scottsville is a hell hole for sure!!!

 

Ive been saving up money. Helps when you never go home.

Apparently the system didn't do a great job of placing drivers today. There seems to be a rash of high mileage deadheads. I'll take the 1400+ miles for the load, but wow, that can't be good for Prime's bottom line.

 

Its been going on for a while now. Supposedly things are better now than they were about three or four weeks ago when everyone was wondering what was going to be done about "the great freight shortage of 2012." Chicago was 180 loads short when I was there, NE was 200 loads short when I was there, back to Chicago and 160 loads short, no clue what the deal was or is, but I had three deadheads over 500 miles myself.

 

They were deadheading out of the NE yesterday to Bensalem... short on trailers for the Rohm and Haas loads.
