Healthy eating and life style while on the road

    Hey guys n girls... I was just curious as to what all of u experienced truckers do while out on the road in regaurds to excerise and health eating.. When do u find time to exercise? Do u bring healty food with u? Lean cuisines from store? Gotta get pricey.. Thanks

    I guess the first thing I would do is use the search button, in the top, right hand corner, and read the 4,982 threads related to eating/exercising in the truck. If I couldn't find anything healthy to eat, or exercise to do in those 4,982 threads, then I guess I'd start a new thread asking the same question that's been asked 4,982 times before.

    hi , i usully get full pack of bananas at walmart and keep them cool on the fridge. some others fructs sometimes. i am a solo driving for now so each 10 hours break. i always take one hours for exercice ( running , or fitness gym if there is one ). i also try to stop always at the TA, because of the salad bar, it keep me in good shape.

    the most important you need to do when you are driving is be aware of what you eat. your body is not burning a lot of energy while driving. so if you eat cheetos, instead of to be burn , they will go directly stock in your grease.

    try to privilege fructs and vegetable, even white meat or fish is good. ( get a lot at walmart because this is a joke how much they sell them at truck stop)
    and AVOID soda. it will kill you if you try to stay in good healh . drink water . this is what i do and for right now i didnt gain weight.

    once every two week i get a mc donald because if not, i go nuts lol

    Hit up e foods direct .com try amonth supply of food for the road. Get a burner with those mini propane tanks. Cooking and eating supplies. Also get a outdoor camping shower to hold few gallons of water as a sink to clean after. This food will save u money, non gmo, and since its all add water type of food its soft. Which helps keep ya thin or lose lots of weight. Doesn't matter if u eat salads all day, people gain weight because all the unnatural chemicals and gmo that make up the food. Doesn't matter if ur on the road or at home. Food should always take some type of time to make, its what gives us energy, mood, etc. exercise is what ya get out of it, and there will always be a chance to bust out some runs or push ups...

    Me personally I try to keep myself just under 600lbs at all times thats where I fill my healthiest and when I'm at my best. To keep this pyhsique and fitness level I try to bend over and touch my knees at least twice aday and keep myself at no more then 12 hamburgers per day.

    As of now I'm really ramping up my fitness level and have cut way back to only 10 hamburgers aday,I know hard for you to believe but I'm a fitness freak of nature...I hope this helps and yes I'm very bored...:biggrin_25512:
