Teaming= longer loads, more pre loaded trailers,(your in and out of the customer faster) and better pay per mile. Also they don't like teams sitting so if there is one load in the area and it's between a team and a solo getting it, the team is getting the load.

Before picking a company, type their name in the search bar. If there's mostly negative, they probably suck.

No I meant look for an alternative. If you work for a farm you can drive their truck without a Cdl within a 100 mile radius of the farm. Once you get a little time under your belt you can test at dmv on their equipment. Farms don't pay much but not any worse then the bottom feeders.

If you can do it that way you get experience and a free CLD.

Sure they do, you just don't notice because there's no reason for you to be looking. A lot of farms have a few trucks to move their grain, produce, feed, and eggs. That's the reason for the cdl exemption for farms. As long as you work for the farm you can drive their truck in a 100 mile radius and you don't need a cdl.
