Well I have been on vacation since 25th last month and was ready today as planned. I got a load that picks up tomorrow 0830 and delivers 600 miles for two days driving. I have been charged twice for idle time now while on vacation. I am now officially looking for another company. I can handle a lot but making me pay for idle time is wrong. I paid 35 both times. I think my idle was at 20%. So next time the truck batteries die I think they can call for service instead of me. just my 2 cents. I am here to do a job to the best I can in a timely and safe fashion. I will not pay for something without a detailed bill showing why and how. They know all the points on shifting what is the advantage of good fuel economy if they are going to take it out my check anyway?

How did they charge you for idle time on vacation? Are you taking time off in the truck?

Yeah. Call general recruiting line or fill a app out online. Check my thread on link. I don't hold anything back, and post all my actual mileages with proof.

Just got a preplan Sunday for zanesville Ohio to nc deliver Tuesday. That's two runs of 600 miles or less and two days to drive each one back to back and just came off home time. This is not what I signed up for. Monday I am making calls.
