They should explain that freight is slow and not charge idle because I am not here to waste my time. They still get paid reguardless on the backs of drivers waiting for loads now you want to charge idle? Not sure why I couldn't get a mead load, they do 19 a week.
-
not sure why you didn't ask for idle time credit...
There is no reason to be charged
The short distance Friday pick-up/Monday deliveries are crap, but those places don't have weekend hours, nothing you can do about that -
He shouldn't have to ask for idle credit when frieght is that slow in his area. He continually gets screwed coming off home time. I am amazed that you have stuck it out at May for as long as you have Plat.
You got your year in, stick it out until you hear from Don over at Furniture Row. You will be very happy you did. -
YOU ALWAYS have to ask for the credit. He is not the only driver they have to keep track of there.
If he leaves, who is going to complain and whine all the time on here?
-
I did ask for idle credit, I was told per my dm. They cover some of it not all if it. I will be in touch with Danny boyd Monday to set the transfer up tell I get to another outfit. I have a airtran voucher I can use to get back. I still have this message in my qc if you want to see it.

May trucking lies to its drivers all the time. How can they say low shipping when others get loads all the time. It is called the good old boy system. It is just like you have how many people sitting waiting for loads over the weekend. You give a pta then as well you give them notice of ontime delivery so why cant they get you scheduled? Oh they have only one planner on weekend but us drivers are 24/7. DM's think they are the boss and tell drivers oh why cant you make it. it is only such an such. if you refuse then you are black balled, sitting somewhere. Just dont get injured. they will ruin you.

Justawheelholder is on the good ol boy system. I promise you. He knows a dispatcher in corporate. If I got miles like him I would be a cheerleader too and even shave for it.
-
I mentioned meeting Pat ONE TIME, and all the sudden he's my buddy, and giving me extra miles? WTFE! If you're such the consummate professional why do you get these crap loads, miles, and complain and whine all the time?
-
Justawheelholder, do me a favor. It's my opinion not yours but please reintroduce your upper lip to your bottom lip and ####. I really don't care what you have to say. Not one person trained under you comments here. You are a trainer not a typical driver here. You get different miles. If the miles were so great scooter and efon would still be here. When it comes to my money I have a lot to say. I am in the business of making money. Not losing it to camping in a truck due to lack of planning.
