Most of you are aware I always get screwed coming back from time off. I know first hand from the source May gets 19 loads a week going to Denver from Atlanta mead. Well I was asked to grab a specific trailer from there for my next preplan. That dispatch number is 0688789. When I arrived to pick that trailer up it was loaded. So how come I didn't get a trailer out of there when there were three loaded? My next dispatch is 0688704, which picks up on 06-10? Why are the numbers out of sequence? Anyone see the picture here? It's just my opinion, but I was ready Thursday. I called wed afternoon as a courtesy saying I am en route to the truck I will be ready first thing Thursday. I didn't get a preplan tell after 1pm that Thursday. Something isn't right, sequence of dispatch vs available and trailer I was asked to pick up was preloaded. Again, this is a planning issue not a terminal.
What's your opinions?
I have less than 1500 miles in 4 days.

ignore the dispatch numbers...I had a 0683xxx dispatch, when the one before it was like 0675xxx

Ok thanks, guess my focus or question is why not one of those three trailers that were loaded given to me?
-
I would say 19 loads per week means there are their pets who get the mileage. thus, many suffer. bad business! i saw three drivers sit in denver over weekend. bad business! if trucks dont move company is not making money.

Platinum, I know what you are going through, except kinda opposite for me, when I get off home time usually run really good, but once get within 1 1/2 weeks of my requested home time it slows down tons for me, I am currently sitting at 1217 miles since Wednesday the 6th and am up here outside of Tacoma waiting on a pre plan still and I had put in home time for this Thursday-Sunday. Guess that is not gonna happen, now gonna be pushed back even farther

I returned on Thursday, I have officially sat in truck more than drive this week. My fingers are crossed.

Finally got me pre plans and of course it doesn't pick up till tomorrow morning, at least it is a quick one and delivers same day, and the next pre plan of course don't pick up till the next morning either, and I get to drop it in Denver. So depending of things go I might get home late Friday night or Saturday sometime. At least I will get to spend at least one full day with my wife before she goes back to work Monday morning and a couple days with my son.

Oh yeah, you are exactly right, Pat in logistics has his little pets and favorites. A couple yrs ago I knew a driver that worked for May, he bragged about his connection w/ Pat, he was making 3k miles a week when everyone else was barely making 1.5k. Well, I threatened one time to bust up his little game he had going on. (I wasn't going to say anything) well, the company caught on and put a kibash to his game. I think he thought I said something because not too long after that my miles started to suck big time. I brought it up and was told I was crazy basically. That they are too busy in logistics. it doesn't take much to put up a post it note with truck numbers on it. Plus, Brooks drivers get preference anyway.

If anyone gets preference, it would be those that are on time, don't run out of hours and understand the job.
