Well that lost me in the running!, I'm going in another direction, I thought this would give me some good reefer experience before I went elsewhere. Oh well. Take Care Drivers.

well time for an update, like i said id try to post everything good and bad, not sugarcoat.

heres the good, i really like the office people, everyone including jeff and jay (ceo and president) at least talk to you like youre an actual human being.

the training pay is among the highest around, 350 a week for first month but 700 a week after

if you live in utah this should be a dream company as a newbie because youd get home several times a month.

i like driver tech much better than qualcomm.
and their trucks are really much newer and better maintained than most.

    heres what i dont like,
while trucks are new, no inverters or apus, you can supply your own generator but still, even central allows inverters as do most companies.

while training pay is great, newbie pay isnt. .26 for first 9 months then .28 and after a yr .32 with central its .28 right away and .30 after six months and .32 after a yr.

overall my experience with pride has been good so far, if any questions feel free to ask

I thought I was going to go crazy without a hard wired inverter but we manage fine with the plug in inverters.. he has a huge chest freezer he has on his bunk (he sleeps in the fetal position so it doesn't bug him.) I'm on my laptop whenever I'm not behind the wheel.. like right now. which means laptop/wifi hotspot/charging my phones etc. we also have a small TV.
When I got stuck at the truck stop for his anniversary for 5 days I only had the low batt. warning come on once, kicked the truck on for an hour and it was charged back up.

When I get my truck I'm having the shop mech. install a mobile tracking KVH DirecTV Satellite system http://www.kvh.com/Leisure/RV-Systems/Television.aspx
get a little LCD TV, small fridge and my computer/internet.. and I'll have all the comforts of home except a toilet/shower. :D I am considering getting a little gene but I'm afraid it will get swiped while I'm showering er something.
all of that should run just fine on a two or three plug in inverters.

Just being curious, when did they start installing the back up beepers, to wake up any sleeping drivers that might be around??

At least since the 2010 trucks. Luckily, mine works maybe once a month. Definitely don't write that one up as broken.

Spent 2 1/2 days in Albuquerque at Freighltliner over last weekend broke down. Cracked injector cup and fuel got into the cooling system so the tank had to be replaced. First time the truck has given us a real problem over the last year. Still don't want to give this one up though but it's looking like we'll be getting a new truck in the next two weeks unfortunately.
