Werner can be a good company if you don't let dispatch get under your skin or force you to run when your getting low on drive time.
They have a really bad habit of trying to get drivers to run illegally and threatening to terminate your employment or refuse to give you loads if you refuse dispatch request to run that way.
They also have a habit of sending you to get trailers at places that have been closed down for months from time to time, I ran into that a few times lol
This one time they sent me back and fourth from one place to another id say for a good 5 hours picking up and dropping the same two empty trailers because they had no loads at that time just so i was not sitting.
All in all i liked working for Werner even with the sometimes worthless maintenance department at the terminals.
It is what you make of it after all!

They use paperless logs so how can this be true?

well im sure exactly but im gonna take a wild guess and say the students might run paper logs or they might have drivers run paper and paperless so if they get DOT check, they can show the paper log instead of the paperless log so they dont get in trouble. I knew a O/O who ran 2 log books. One was during driving and one he filled out at the end of the day to make the times add up and be legal. but how they do it with werner i do not know.
