Sourdough truck drivers are nothing new.
I had one whiz past me like I was standing still last year.
He took a 20 mph ramp a little too fast and - you guessed it -
he rolled it over in the curve.
I coulda said "I told youuu", but do ya think he'd listen??
CSA2010 is crackin down on these low lifes before they kill people.
    And I applaud the effort.
Hopefully one day they will be excluded from the industry.
We have a bad enough image as it is.
With the cops, DOT, and the public at large.
And idiots like that just make it worse.

Yes are freedoms are being taken away slowly not only in trucking but in this country the whole greenhouse effect all that is is a money maker look at the cost of new trucks compared to the late 1990s plus the cost when they breakdown cause of the emissions crap.how about them elogs who's paying for that and Qualcomm yep the drivers the costs just did passed down to us the drivers in lower wages I was making 900 per week in 94 when the cost of living wasn't nearly as high as it is today now a days that's a good driving job drivers are lining up to make that lol btw you guys who drive them 60 mph trucks are some of the unsafest drivers out there you do 60 no matter what the speed limit is as far as elogs ill that is is big brother watching over you

I don't know where to start with this one... So I won't. Opinions are like ...holes, everybody has one. You keep doin 75 and I'll keep doing 62, see who goes rubber-up first.

interesting, you start about losing freedoms then bash for someone exercising his right.

What part of "limit" is confusing?

Issue regarding safety is not speed. It is actions. Tailgating at 50 is unsafe. Doing the legal limit with plenty of stopping room for speed is safe. But what seems to be the theme here is some blaming others for their aggressive driving.

I could be wrong, but isn't speeding while empty even more dangerous than speeding while loaded? And at night... Just waiting for an accident to happen. You keep referring to freedom, we are talking SAFETY...

Just because you can't handle a truck that goes over 63 safely doesn't mean no one else can..

How is speeding more dangerous empty then loaded? Shows what you know and through the night on the road that I run there is no traffic just me and the road been doing this for close to 20 years as an owner/operator and company driver if you want to drive 60mph that's your right I have no problem with it I have a problem with being told I have to.so I ask if you were offered a large car with no governor or a truck with a 60 mph governor which would you chose? Yea that's what I thought the large car and that's my whole point you should have a choice!!
