PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

SpriMo for a few days

 

Flying J in Houston. FM had me stop my load at our drop yard here in Houston. I guess Prime has 60 loads that need to get out of here this weekend, and only 27 trucks available. Picked up trailer and ran to 01. Several drivers have been sitting there since 1300 yesterday, and there trailer still isn't loaded, so dropped trailer and deadheaded to J. Hopefully I get out of here at a decent time tomorrow, heading right back to Denver for 8am appt Monday. Gonna be tight!!

 

Seymour IN - drop n hook @ a WallyWorld DC heading to SPRIMO. Be there early in the AM for some work on the tractor.

Gonna be a party. JCW will be there tomorrow.

 

At Home for the weekend. I sure am enjoying Intermodal. No waiting around for loads or FM's with their heads up there Arses. The day is planned on my Qualcom on the previous day so I always know what my next day and load is going to be. While driving home tonight my work for Monday came over the Qualcom.(Sure do love that) Seeing my wife 2-3 nights during the week plus being off every weekend is great. I'm running out of the Worcester, MA yard. I pull out of and into the Boston rail yard. Right off of I-90. I do see alot of Prime trailers getting loaded on the rails. They are being brought into the Rail yard by Manchester Motor Freight. I've dropped several containers in the Lewiston, Walmart DC. Sure was nice to get in there without having to shuttle Walmarts stores for 2 or 3 days. Don't miss that at all. But I will say this though, I do miss Primes, wonderful equipment. I'm in an old 07 Freightliner, Columbia with 570000 + miles and the Containers I haul are usually garbage and I feel like I'm a DOT target. But it sure is fun passing all the Prime trucks that venture up here into New England.
