Another lovely part of this business.. collecting pay!
Today at about 1400, I filed for a claim in the amount of $900.00 against the bond of: Evans Logistics Solutions, the brokerage division of Evans Trucking of Butler, IN. Many of you know Evans trucksing.. They were invoiced 50 days ago, and until now I haven't seen a payment, I contacted them last week and they said the 2 loads don't exist in their system for some reason, and was told they would followup with me in the next few days. I tried contacting them this week, with no luck to get in contact with anyone in the Accounts Payable dept, I sent a couple of emails, then waited 2 days with no response. Today, the wait was over. I contacted Pacific Financial (their bond), found out they have another claim pending, so I hurried and filed mine. I urge all the fellas out here to not conduct business with this broker until we see the end of this tale. I will update you with more information in the next few days.

    Keep on Rollin.......

If you sent invoice 50-days ago, based on two credit sources they should be paying any day now. They have been mostly a 48-50 day pay.

If it spiked recently I would say you have something to worry about. But this just seems to be SOP for them.

Good luck and pay attention to that credit report.

I understand the importance of checking the scores.. I'd like you to know that I've done business with them before with no problems, and the contract we have clearly states the payment terms to be 30 days. I hope there will be no problem collecting like you say, time will tell. The main thing that made my clock tick is that their AP dept couldn't find the specified loads or load numbers in the system.. which is very odd

For anyone that's reading this, Evans Logistics Services is not to be confused with two other similarly named brokers: Evans Delivery company, and Evans Transportation. Both of which are very nice people and pay well.
