605 miles down today, putting me at 1702 miles so far this week.

 

Awesome, got my name on a new or newer truck (not sure of the year yet). It's a black one thats getting a pm done at the portland OC. After I get loaded here I'm headig over to the Portland OC to take some home time and get a pm done on this pos. The new or newer one had some vibrations in the brake pedal so the shop has to figure that out first and they've been busy lately so it may take a while. My truck needs a #### ton of work to it so I'll see if they can get the new one finished instead of my old pos that's a trade in.

 

Well, don't think the vibrations will matter as long as the brakes function properly LOL, especially coming down Siskiyou pass with 46500 in the box

 

Ah, home for 3 days. Feels good!

Oh, and hai, hauling big ol' tires across the Appalachians causes them to want to teeter toter its way near the trailer doors, and no matter how gently and softly you try to back that SOB back to the dock, they will fall out. Thankfully the yard dog was coming down the row (place was a big as an abandoned Walmart DC) and was flag downable, so I didn't have to walk the half mile around the building to get help. Yeah, I couldn't drive there because their was a whole other pile of tires just about to fall out, too. Ugh.

I'm home now, so all is good in the world.
