That's where your priorities come in to play. Maverick is really good at letting us off as much as we need as long as once we're back out, we're willing to work. They called me this morning but my wife is having surgery in the morning so I had to turn them down. I'll be ready tomorrow afternoon.

The home time was good when I did that swap. My dad was in hay that week; so I was able to help him get most of our hay crop up. However, I was left with a trailer that had bad brakes on it (that cost $1100 to fix). It had to have new pads and drums on both trailer axles. Also, it was missing a canvas tarp (that screwed me when I picked up pipe at Marseillas, IL), missing mudflap and bracket, bent ratchet on side of trailer, no friction pads and he left me short about 60 bungies. Needless to say, if they call me again and ask me to do a trailer swap with that guy, I will say #### NO!!!!

Hey everyone I'm headed to maverick nlr on the 24th to join flatbed southeast region and was wondering what my chances are of getting a trainer in my neck of the woods ? I live in Georgia

The only trainer I know of (not the only one there of course) currently has a student and will be releasing him in about a week. So...maybe.

Well had a great but a busy week. Picked up a load of tubing in Tulsa Sunday and was able to leave Monday. Delivered in Clarksville Tn, and picked up some wire rope Tuesday afternoon and dropped in southern Virginia Wednesday morning. Picked up some structural steel in Bristol Tn for Carmel New York. Had to make that by 8am Friday to unload. Made it but that load never settled in. Every load check had to tighten or adjust the securments. It was a preloaded trailer but a mess. A real challenge. The drop was at a hose at lake Carmel and had to back up a steep driveway. Went good. Went down to meyerstown pa. And picked up a load of shingles for port Huron. Doing my reset at a flying j at 280 and 80. Will be waiting at the gate at 730. Enjoying this gig. Well y'all have a good week.

Just saying hi & seeing how everyone is doing. Haven't been back to work (Maverick) since I turned my truck in last month. But I have been working at my unit for the past week. Traing & make up drills. Some flying. Been spending all this time with my new little one. I should be back on July 9th after a weekend of training up in WA for the guard. Can't wait to get back out on the road and start getting a regular paycheck.
