keeping cb cool

    I just bought a Connex 4400 Turbo Do I need a fan or something to keep it cool? If so what can I use and how do I hook it up?

    Unless your a total "Bucket-Mouth"...You don't really need a fan. It will get warm, but thats normal, thats why it has fins on the back, so it can air-cool...Just don't mount the radio in a box, mount it so air can circulate around it and you'll be fine.

    Available from about the size of a poker chip to 5 or 6 inches. They are made to generate NO electrical noise. Some are very quiet; some kinda noisy, depending on air flow.

    Get'em at the Goodwill computer dept. Used pull outs about one or two bucks.

    I just got mine last week and it has a built in fan.
