I love old cab overs, but you never see them out and about anymore since people are scared to drive them now. Personally I remember driving one of my dad's old ones and LOVED it. Post some pictures

where do you get the people are afraid to drive them from.I have a cabover and run all over the united states and Canada with mine. I missed 3 loads to Alaska last year only because I was too far down on the board they were offered to me I said yes but the guys ahead of me got them
SuperLiner and Joetro Thank this. -
Agreed ... with Spacetrucker88, I spend nearly all of my time driving COE's never bothered me a bit did not feel any more or less unsafe than driving anything else. Don't drive one anymore as most places "including my present gig" don't have any in the fleet
Joetro Thanks this. -
Super liner thank you I see you are a Mack man. I started with a 1967 F model Mack 250 mack engine and a tri plex transmission Ithink the rears were 4.17 but I might be wrong 10.00 20 tires on dayton wheels and mack camelback suspension I could not make that thing go nohow.

I started my trucking career in one just like this one, except it was bright yellow instead of white. Sure wish I would have taken a few pics of mine back then. Being a spring ride, single axle tractor, it sure was one rough riding SOB...
road dust Thanks this. -
cool 9370 international is it not?
-
No. This was a 9670. The 9370's were conventionals. -
My first tractor I learned to drive was a White cab over, also I rebuilt a K100 and drove it for some time hauling steel in the off season.
