Unless you're going to be spending any appreciable time in Canada, the "standard 7" NOAA weather channels (every 25 KHz from 162.400 to 162.550) are going to be all you need. The three additional freqs found on some radios are 161.650 MHz (marine VHF Ch 21B), 161.775 MHz (marine VHF Ch 83B) and 163.275 MHz. The first two frequencies are used by Canada for marine weather broadcasts. 163.275 MHz was used by the National Weather Service for internal coordination in the event of a power outage but is no longer in active use.
My little Cobra 25 WX ST NW (or whichever order the abbreviations are in) works fine anyplace I go.

This thread is almost 5 years old.
But to answer the question, the Uniden PC 68 LTW or the Cobra 25 LTD WX are both good CB's with the WX option. -
Uniden pc78 have good wx in them, some say better then cobra I don't now if that true or not but mine worked well.
