I know. That is my problem. I feel like being lazy at home for a week but then I would be going back for like 10 days then taking off 12 days after that. Have saved up money and can afford it but I think ACT will wonder what the heck is going on. Don't want them to think I am being lazy.

miles have def improved lately. i think the new broker is a good thing. btw i wish they would preplan us when going to kc i hate going there because u never know how freight is gonna be
-
Ah miles have improved because there 40empty trks in the yard. Just . Less drivers more loads. Maybe
-
Yeah there may be 40 empty trucks but that don't mean there are 40 less trucks on the road. Almost 20 has been because they got new trucks so the drivers got out of the old ones into the new ones. Since I started here 15 months ago I have averaged right around 2500 miles a week.
-
Im good with 2500also . Especially with these elogs . It allows you to be able to set yourself up with a reset. your weeks can repeat themselves .

Ok so i'm finally going to start on with ACT like I was a couple months ago but my current company was going bankrupt and outta business, and since they treated me great and asked if i could stick it out until the end to help out, i figured i owed it to them.. After really narrowing it down to two companies, Link America and ACT whom both accepted me for orientation i was going on sign with link america but something just kept me attracted to ACT. i've been following both posts and talked to drivers from both companies and ACT just kept standing out.. I just have a couple questions from any l/p guys.
1. Which gets better fuel, the 09's or 10's? i dont wanna deal with DEF..
2. Never having driven 13 speeds before and having to drive a auto shift for the last 6 months, though i know i wont have a problem shifting, been driving 10 speeds for the previous 5 1/2 yrs, but are they strict on the road test in case i happen to grind a couple times and since iam new to 13 speeds ? -
1. I have a 2010 and i avg 7.5 at 55mph. I think they all get around that if you drive slow.
2. They are not strict on the driving test. Just tell him you never drove a 13 speed and he will show you how. I grind them and missed a gear and still passed. Just dont do anything illegal and dont hit anything and you will do fine.
