On this comming monday I have to pull a tanker of methylchloride, flammable,2.1 from Toledo, Oh to southern Nj near Philly. The straightest way is the Pa turnpike but I cant go thru the tunnels. I could take I80 all the way to I95 then south but was wondering if someone could suggest a better way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks .

Check the routing against 2.1 flammable routing, but try 80/322/I-283/PA 283/US 30/I-76.

    Hope this helps.

Try 80 East to 220/99 south to 322 East to I81 north to 78/22 east to 183 south to 222 south to 422 east

Check this route out on your map sir, hope it helps you out a little, if you take 322 don't take the business route through town.

From 81 north: Take 83 south to 283 south to 30 east to 202 south to 1 north to 322 east into southern jersey. Going up to 78 and 422 will put you to far north.

Sorry Logan76, i ran that area for years. Like the first part though, real nice ride across 322 through the mountains this time of the year.

    Logan76 Thanks this.

I don't haul hazmat but what would be wrong with running I-80 all the way to the Tannersville exit and then take route 33 south (all four lane no stops) it hooks right into I-78 and jumps you right across the bridge into NJ not one stop sign on the whole route.

you can run the turnpike to somerset and take 31 east to 30 at bedford then 70 east to 81 and then what ever or run the turnpike to 79 south and then 68 east across the big hills to 70 and then whatever

I-80 to I-99 to US322 to I-81 North to I-83 South to I-283 to PA 283 to US30 east. No tunnels, no tolls. My friend runs from York to Detroit twice a week round trip and that's the way he takes just to avoid the tolls. I've done it a few times. Not a bad road. US322 is a little hilly.

i know it's too late for dougs5300 but i would run 80e to milton (210A), take 15 south into harrisburg, then pick up double r's 81n/ 83s/283e/30e. 15 is a nice wide divided 4 lane, hardly any traffic, nice scenery near the river, and at least 3 places to stop with enough parking for a truck.
