going from Houston to Wilmington, CA with a 60k load. First time with one of these, anything I should be aware of besides the obvious high center issues that could arrise. The third axle is a booster if that makes any difference. Appreciate any advice.
Edit - the neck is also removable but don't have to mess with that on this load
pulling first 3 axle double drop tomorrow, any tips?

dont turn sharp you will dig the trailer into the ground. swing wide.
-
AZS,
just make sure you are comfortable with the steps to drop the trailer on the ground and pick it up, blocking the neck and so on.
That has been the hardest part for me since I purchased my double drop.

Appreciate it guys.
Rontonio - I feel I would be alright if I had to remove the neck, my company does give us this laminated instruction sheet with step by step how to do it. One thing I can't get an answer to is fifth wheel placement, I have it all the way back but seems like thats going to ride really rough. -
leave it back ride, you talked to AT to much
-
ok and no AT left before doing anything like this
-
mine is set very near the rear axle as well and it can a rough ride from time to time. also it will take an acre to turn around as some pointed out
I think you will like it, it is just a little different than your used to.plan on longer to load/unload than usual.AZS Thanks this. -
well the load got canceled anyway, back to a step deck. Thanks again.
