So while I was troubleshooting the lack of power in my tractor 7-wire BLUE center, I had thought
it would be tied to the fuse marked "TRAILER HOT LINE".

However, this wasnt the case. It ended up being a fuse within the engine compartment on my 99 KW.

So, any clues on what the "TRAILER HOT LINE" circuit might be for?
Someone did relabel the fuse box and added this but I dont have any switch on the dash, nor a spare wire
    labeled accordingly inside the dash.

Also, there is nothing external I can find and the prior owner told me he had no clue.

    Thoughts?

All late model trucks have this hot to power the trailer ABS. My tire inflation system is also powered off the center pin.

Right, but I can take OUT the fuse labeled "TRAILER HOT LINE" and I still have pin 7 power......so I figured it must be something added but
    haven't figured out what..?

Sounds like someone has played cut and splice with the harness.

My 95 kw had a push button switch in the overhead console labeled trl. hot line.
    It was factory. Never did
find out what it was for

This. Time to start looking for handiwork that doesn't look factory or the same age/condition as the stuff around it. Getting the right wiring diagram sections from your dealer will help locate and verify connectors and bulkheads that are likely suspects.

I recently went through some tail light issues on our 04 FL Century. The First Big Clue was a nicely done extra ground wire on the rear of the frame that wasn't on the diagram. That led me to some suspicious looking tape here and there. I decided to replace the tail harness for a $50 part and a quick change instead of going fishing, since I needed the truck to go right back out. I couldn't help but do a post-mortem on the bad part. Underneath some neatly done cover up was a rats nest of crap from a previous owner that attempted to fix something somehow and just made a mess that was not going to last.

Nothing's much funner to fix than a hacked up wiring job.

I got the KW schematics...but they didnt even show the bundle of fuses that feeds the trailer!
Fortunately someone on here mentioned it to me or I might not have looked for it.

So, from my perspective the KW printouts are useless. They show the hotline to be installed
into SPARE 4 fuse and run off the BATT side of the feed. However, that spot only has power
on ACC or IGN. Not like all the time.
Everything works fine - I'm just stumped at what this hotline is.

According to KW, when a hotline IS installed, you are to relabel the fuse panel.
Mine is relabeled with a KW sticker (Same font as the rest of the panel) yet I cant find out what it does or where it
might go. Pull the fuse, nothing changes. Add the fuse, nothing changes.

I have found cut off wires that dont look factory like, but so far they too have led to no ideas.

    Weird.

Gas trailers need constant power to trailer when key is off to run scully systems, cannot load with out "hot line"
