Indian River Transport, Co. - Winter Haven, FL.?

I was actually set up for the 9th but I'm gonna call in the morning and see if I can change it to like next week.. I'm tired of being stick in the northeast fit 2 weeks at a time. They got any decent Pete's at WH?

Myself personally, if I got a local driving job that pays good and gets me home every night with 2-3 days off per week, I would leave indian river tomorrow. What I would NOT do is leave indian river to drive OTR for another company. Randy is right about the miles, they fluctuate quite a bit, but then again, summer is considered the off season for food grade. Thats just the way it is

 

Met a driver out in Phoenix a few days ago when I was out there. Been with the company since 1994. Drives an international. Says he goes wherever he wants. Told him how much slower its been for me lately, told me thats just how it goes this time of year.

On the upside, I haven't been seeing the northeast anywhere near as much.

 

Found out today that Chris is no longer an employee of irt. Been replaced by some dude named joe.

This thread is dying....only thing I have to report is I got back to Florida from Arizona, went up to flemington nj and Melvin dh'ed me all the way to montezuma ga. I knew it was getting slow, but xxxx

 

I spoke with Chris this morning also...guess I got some bad info. But there IS a new guy named joe, I know that for a fact because I got a call from him the last time I took a 34 at home. Chris sent me preplan for a load that picks up somewhere in upstate ny after melvin dh me to montezuma ga friday. Nobody communicates with anybody in that #### office. Sometimes it's a pain in xxx but sometimes their incompetence is kinda funny
