My husband is looking for a new job. He used to work for a food supply company out of Florida for over 10 years. He is considering long haul jobs in order to make more money. He was offered a job with Lessor, but after reading all the horrible things this company has done to drivers I am concerned about him taking a job with this company? He is based in Florida around the Tampa and Orlando area. Any feedback would be great.. Thanks

Are they any good? I have been reading about several trucking companies and while no company is perfect, some I would rather have him stay away from and avoid any drama a
and aggravation. He's has great job references and is a very hard worker. It is just where he is at currently, they have high turn over and are very short staffed and disorganized.
I am surprised they are still in business to be honest. -
Alot of the bad reviews are old. In august we were bought out and have made a 110% improvement.
Most drivers in this area get home weekends or 7-10 days out. Being close to this area gives him the chance of getting home often.
Here's my blog in them

I will go on line and review it for him. He has a good driving record. No Dui's no felonies. I noticed that you claimed that you make estimated $10,600 a month?
Are you serious or was that just a good month for you? lol Drive safely, the zomies are out tonight... It just finished raining..lol Sorry bad joke.. -
No that's my monthly mileage
-
10,600 a month in mileage... Wow that is like 353 miles a day? But @ 30cpm. that is not a lot of money? Plus if you are working 5 1/2 days a week?
You must not be home that much? -
Well your math is off.
I average 5 days out, occasionally 5 1/2
I leave hone early Sunday mornings and am back friday. Then off till Sunday. Repeat process.
10,600 ÷ 20 = 530 average per day
We don't pay. 30 a mile anymore. Pay scale went up quite a bit.act6629 Thanks this. -
Browse thru most of the threads on here and see what drivers average a week. It safe to say roughly 2500 miles. However they are OTR drivers and out 4-6 weeks at a time. Meanwhile im getting the same mileage, get home for the weekend and usually get atleast 1 10hr break at home because I live in one of our heavy freight lanes. Last week I took two 10 hour breaks at home and my weekend off. 4 nights total and over 2500 miles last week. Ill take that any day over 4-6 weeks OTR

Lessors is going through a good change right now. We will have fleet managers that will be held accountable for he drivers's miles and home time. I think giving Lessors a shot would be good. I've been here 5 years. It's not too shabby, and now it's about to get better
