Better be an expert at backing. Most of the stores are not set up for a 53. You have to unload the trailer. Stop by a DT next time you see a truck unloading and take a look what you would have to go though.

Depends on what company you are working for for the pay.
The Ex did the Dollar Tree acct last year for USX-he was making 0.34cpm with < 6 months experience and was out of Berwick PA where the DC was located. YES you unload the truck by hand using a rollar and depending on how fast/slow the store employees keep up can really put a damper on your next stop! He got paid to unload the truck ( I think it was $170 per unload) Generally gone Sunday to Friday (4-5 days out) The miles were not good but the unload made up for the pay. It is hard work to unload the truck.
Depending too as one posted stores are not set up well for a 53' trailer.
The ex did mosly east coast NY PA NJ Mass etc and spent most of this nights in the parking lots where the Dollar tree was location vs truck stop. This in itself was difficult as you can imagine- no running water, bathrooms etc.
Hope that helps.
(BTW he was fired about a year ago for hitting a pole to avoid a 'dog') -
