Life at American Central Transport (ACT)

Tossing this question out there, it's probably been asked already but does ACT have pre-pass.

 

Does ACT have pre-pass, ez-pass ect...I wasn't sure if this question had been asked yet.

 

Yes act does have prepass and ipass which works on the ezpass system. I think prepass cost $13 amonth. I wish they have pike pass oand ktag.

Cool, thanks truckerim2055. Sucks they charge for the pre-pass but it does come in handy. Justed noticed i posted the question twice, didn't think the first one posted - lol.oh well...

 

You can get your own OTA Pike pass and Ktag. It's a business expense anyway you slice it and tax deductible. Since we live off the Cimarron, we got Pikepass for the truck, and will take the price cut across the board, since my understanding is that ACT's routing avoids most of the toll roads in OK, sometimes by a very convoluted route.

 

About 3 or 4 weeks ago they changed to a new routing system and fuel stop software and it's really alot better. I'm now getting routed down most toll roads and getting reimbursed.

Bk started this whole posting on truckersreport thing and we all followed. If anyone would like to come work at act and reading this blog is what helped you reach that decision im sure bk would appreciate the referral and could answer any questions you may have. People are acting really shady and you know who you are. Thats all I have to say

 

I don't work there so I know your post was not directed towards me, but what your saying is this is more of a recruiting bonus tool than a real information tool ? I understand you all post experiences good and bad but when you bring up the word REFFERAL on here it basically undermines your legitness ( if that's a word .. Lol )

I was actually considering ACT as a O/ O ( not a lease I got my own ride ) but non the less now I'd want to know what exactly the bonus for a REFFERAL is cause if someone is make 500,1000,2000 .. Etc . Are they being 150% upfront or is it for a bonus . If someone is to make a change to a job it's got to be on 100% good information and not on a whelm that someone is getting a bonus .

WITH THAT SAID ... I'm not saying that's what anyone is doing but when you make statement such as that with REFFERAL mentioned it makes someone think ... Can you enlighten us as to what you ment about that a bit .

Thanks - again iI'm not baiting I have a serious question I don't mind giving out refferals but it has to be on 100% legit info and not just a recruiting or money ploy .. ( not saying you or any one is ) just have a question need a few answers as to the bonus etc
