We do our mountain road test tomorrow. I am told this pretty much wil decide your employment status here.
I have been in the yard all day practicing shifting and lost gear recovery. Really getting much smoother with it all.
If you really WANT to work hard and learn a LOT in a short period of time, I can recommend W/S at this point.

 

Getting ready for WPTS school now.

Five more days!! Last day the 25th.

DMV test on the 27th.

Got my truck today and will be off from Helena, Mt tomorrow headed for Washington with a load of flour.

 

make sure you scale that, they like to load you heavy.

So..here we sit at the Covenant Hotel in Chattanooga, TN waiting for our trainer to return from his vacation. We have been on the road for about 3 weeks, and between me and the BF we have driven almost 19,000 miles, and have seen all but about 12 of the lower 48 states! We are learning a lot, and I can truly say that I would never want to be a trainer!! You not only have to teach your trainees how to REALLY drive out here, you have to teach them how to live a new lifestyle, and the paperwork, and the Qualcomm, and everything! But, we are learning, and he says there is much improvement, so we need to finish our segments, and then we can test out to upgrade to our own truck! Wish us luck!! PLEASE!! LOL
