Yeah. I started these threads to share what I'm up to. While I enjoy hearing from others of the forums, I will not let anyone's post deter me from discovering certain things for myself.

For every good aspect there is when undertaking a new job, there are tens or hundreds of negative points... sometimes coming from people who have no clue. Either way is unimportant. I'm going to undertake this the same way I do anything else.

I'll just share what I'm up to and then I'll make popcorn and watch the insanity that has already begun in this thread... I haven't even started yet!

The answer to your question would be no because I'm not impressed with him either.

You will do good on the western fleet. I have been here 4 years. There a little tight with hometime, but overall a pretty good company. They started a new 7/7 fleet if anybody cares. 7 on 7 off. Would be like a part time job.

I might consider that once I'm out in PA again. Depends on a few factors. I do have to say... I would rather not slip seat.

Marten is a very good company. Just like most it is what you make of it. I made a very good living there and had an excellent dispatcher, though I ran Memphis regional. The only reason I left was I wanted more home time. I wish I was back at Marten rite now.

Good luck. I've never really posted in your threads but read them often. A couple guys I work with now used to work with Marten and seemed to like them overall. Both left to work as diesel mechanics.

Got to agree with A.T. On this one. I wrk for knight and my best friend just quit matrn,(so for the d.bags I am qualified to a opinion) why not trade up?,instead of one set of scumbags to another? You should know better being a t.r.forum wh0re. Sounds like your mind I already made up tho, so good luck. (that APu is about the only difference besides knight at least had long runs (reefer side of course)
