i was really making some serious, consistent, dependable, easy cash for a long time but then 2-3 months ago things seemed to be starting to wind down a little. i'm still doing ok but i'm working harder and longer hours. i don't keep up on the freight situation for all companies in general so i don't really know if people driving for other companies are having any problems too or just schneider (or just schneider choice) or just me (personal bad luck??) any thoughts? maybe i'm just getting old and lazy and dont even realize...
i'd also heard the old guy who owned schneider passed away...maybe the new people running things are running the choice program different and i just haven't got it figured out yet??
hey also i was curious is there a specific place in this forum where we can talk about the overall freight situation in the u.s.?
problems w/ choice program?

not sure what you are doing, because am not having any issues with the Choice program....headed to Workflow in two weeks. why do you feel something is wrong with it? Are you having problems with Freight Place? -
thanks for the response.... actually this last week has been pretty good so maybe it was just bad luck! that's how it goes...ya open your mouth to complain and things go back to normal and you look like a fool....
for quite a while i was stuck in a rut where it seemed like i was having to spend a lot more time waiting and looking for loads because (at least where ive been) it seemed like there were fewer higher-paying loads to choose from than there were earlier. before, i never checked the load board more than 2-3 times total before i found a good load, but in the last 2-3 months i had to check 5 or more times a day for 2-3 days in a row. also i was seeing fewer loads that pay 3000+. -
I agree there has been an adjustment in freight prices recently, especially the N. E. Region. But I never really felt the 3k+ loads were a bargain anyhow. If its working for you, then you have found your own niche for you. Everyone has a way to make money. Good luck
