Wel doesn't hire folks with misdemeanors. With your record and history. You may only be able to get on with folks like CRST.
What's your take on PAM? And hiring info

Are you going thru C1 in Fort Wayne In? I went down there for USA and my first day they wanted me to take a sleep apnea test so i came back home and no they didnt charge me at all not even for the hotel room wich was a dive. I ended up going to Coast 2 Coast truck driving school in Marine City and looking to going to Schneider tanker when i pass my final test with dmv. Things worked out better for me i believe better company more paythan USA wanted to pay.
-
And i know for a fact Coast 2 Coast works with CRST and they will pay for your training, myself and one other student is going elsewhere, evrybody else is with CRST good luck to you.
-
Yeah I have heard so many horror stories with CRST, but like you said with my record I may just have to get in where I fit in and just have to suck it up for the first year or 2 just to show that I am trustworthy and willing to work hard. Also if I do get accepted by PAM I will be heading to Fort Wayne, IN July 9.
-
Many of the bigger companies are requiring sleep apnea tests. Schneider will probably want you to take one too.
-
Well, CRST turned me down before they even got my name. They say my misdemeanor has to be 3 years old.Dennis_Miller Thanks this.

PAM pays 17 cents as a team driver. You can average 5000 miles as a team and you get the 17 cents for every mile whether you drove it or your Co driver did. If you start off solo then you get 26 cents a mile but less miles. It's a starter company. It's not for everyone.

Werner may be an option. But if that was my only one, I'd find a new career.
-
I dont think you have to worry about to much now because the school will accept you have you sign a contract and then when you cant find a job because of you sitution its gonna be "PAY ME". The way things are now in the industry you have to have a 10yr employment history and LEGAL,wish you luck but form the way u put things,it aint gonna happen.
-
PAM is going to want verifiable work history, references, and they're going to do a criminal background check and MVR. If you have a warrant or are on probation then you will be out of luck.
