Hey there i had a question. i was checking my swr the other day and i forgot to hook up the antenna into the meter and keyed the mike. I am really worried i might have fried my finals. Is it possible to do that if i only did it for a split second? Is there a way i can tell if they are fried? I am still able to transmit and shoot skip but it is something that is bugging me. Thanks everybody for your help.

If everything is normal then it appears you are OK.

If you had damaged the transistor for transmit you would not get out further than 50 yards or so. You're fine
