I'll bet they get sick of dispatchers real quick.

They have my picture posted at every Golden Corral with a sign that says : "This man is not allowed in our restaraunts due to increased food costs"

Just read all the pages in this... I had to endure a lot of crap I didnt like while a trainee with Prime, but I made it. Nothing like being handed the keys to YOUR truck. Takes a lot to endure training. Two strangers stuck in a truck together for long periods of time. I drove from Midnight to noon, that was my shift. That being said.... I was allowed to stop when I needed to. As long as I wasnt screwing around, I was never reprimanded for stopping when needed. What youre going through isnt how its supposed to be. Yes you have to have some thick skin to be a trucker, but theres limits to what you have to be expected to take.

lol no doubt about it & I ain't too proud to say I could never hack it in this line of work hearing the horror stories from the hubby. He's the one with the patience when it comes to grown folks. Not me, no thank you. I'll GLADLY stay at home with our 5 kids. Its sometimes funny. I find myself running around after my 3 yr old like a chicken with it's head cut off, tryin not to holler at my 5 yr old & attempting to pry my 8 & 9 yr old off the Wii and I think to myself, I'd STILL not want to trade places with him. hahaha

@ Kash, sorry, I don't have a clue on what "woooo saaaa" means lol. Guess I ain't "down" like yall. Sorry. I'm just the "truckers significant other" Not the trucker. :)

Id rather deal with rush hour traffic in LA than deal with children.... I have no desire for children EVER.

I had a friend go to work for them. He liked it at first, but then I lost touch with him so not sure how it all ended up for him.

I think Prime is a world class outfit. Lease Purchase is a tuff road but if you stay out, it can work with them because they keep you loaded with good freight.

I like to call training bootcamp because that's exactly what it is.Trucking is not some 9 to 5 job and you go home once you;re shift is over.Only the strong survive in trucking. If you can't handle your trainer more then a week then how you going to handle your dispatcher? If your bronchitus was that bad then you should have called 911.But you manage to tell us your story so I guess it was'nt bad ebough to need medical attention..You can't just up and quit everytime something does'nt go your way because your traimer and company does not care. You're only hurting yourself.

You're right Patty, I'm sure he learned his lesson & next time drive till he falls asleep & plows into my kids bedroom while they're sleeping. ;) Thanks, sure do appreciate that. What a great trainer.

As he stated in his originally post, he did have to call for an ambulance. And I HIGHLY doubt he hoped on his iphone & post to "the truckers report" forum before he called for help. lmao His post was obviously made after the fact. Boy, you're a real winner aren't you.

    P.S.
