Prime Inc driver thread

I finally got my date, my recruiter called and told me I was up next. I leave this Sunday and start on Tuesday. I'm super excited.

 

What should I bring with me? Do they care about tattoos?

 

Yes, and Yes. You'll pay for the machine. It will come out of your check weekly (once you start making a check.) I *think* if you don't need the machine, they will charge you for the sleep study, but not sure if that's over time or in one chunk. And I don't remember the cost of either one. Also, the machine WILL be compliant...as in, it will have a data card you will have to d/l to Prime on a set interval.

 

Will they accept my insurance if for the test and machine?

 

What DTB said... they do the study right there at the Campus Inn where you'll be staying if you need it. It's up to the doctor to order it, and is not based just on BMI alone.

I would THINK so. The study itself if you turn out negative is $150 - if you get the same deal that currently employed drivers do. That's quite a savings since most clinics will charge you something in the neighborhood of $3000 alone for that. If you test positive I believe it's $2200, but I could be wrong. That includes the test, machine, replacement parts and follow-up care for a year. If you search this forum for "sleep apnea" I'm sure you'll find another thread with the details. U2? You're more up on this than I am...

One of us should be able to... been awhile since I went through the incoming orientation. So throw 'em out, and we'll see!

 

$2200 bucks is dirt cheap. My study and machine ran me $7600
