Chattering when shutting down?

Thank you.. I just get worried some times I feel it vibrating under my feet when it shuts down!!

I shut it down with the clutch engaged.. No noise at all. Good or bad news? And when I hold on the shifter, (no clutch) chattering is definately coming from shifter

Have the dealer look at it, they should be able to diagnosis it pretty quick since you CAN duplicate the noise on demand.

Sounds like your throw out bearing or clutch brake is in pieces.

As far as I know every truck I've driven did this exact same thing. Just push the clutch in far enough to engage but not all the way to the brake and that will take care of it. Far as I know it's a perfectly normal noise something to do with the link between the engine and trans
