well i called the walmart 800 number, and explained this to them. like the guy on the phone and i agreed on, it (the parking bs) is probably the property owner and the police. he said he will send the complaint down the line so the store manager knows they are losing business over this. i really dont expect anything to be done about it, but i tried. that is all i can do.
we all know PA is a pain in the rear end for parking anyway. pretty much like the entire northeast.

and that's EXACTLY why we drivers let the cops get away with this crap. I would of been on the phone to his supervisor, and if that didnt work go all the way to the chief of police.windsmith Thanks this.

Um, he was parking on private property against the property owner's wishes, with plenty of signage with bobtail verbiage. The property owner has asked the police to enforce this. Crappy situation, of course, but if there is anyone to be mad at, it's your fellow truckers who don't care about tearing up and trashing other people's property.
-
Nah, that doesn't fly. If they can devote enough time and resources to chase off every truck that parks there as soon as it pulls in, they could use the same amount of effort to watch the ones parked there and run the ones that trash the lot off after making them pick up the trash they just dropped. They're already sitting there watching the lot anyway.

If it wasn't for the slobs that ruined for everybody we could park there plain and simple
DocWatson and Studebaker Hawk Thank this. -
like i said earlier.it used to be no warning, the tow truck would just show up and tow you.but they got sued and you had to be ticketed first.wal-mart has no say in it.i remember that "the trucker" did a big write up on it if i remember right.
-
No you don't get it. The OWNER doesn't want ANY TRUCKS there. As someone who is a firm believer in property rights, who am I to argue with the owner's wishes. Shop somewhere else, I did when I lived up there and this started up back in the day, even though I shopped in my Explorer.

i think people should stop and think,if it wasn't for all you truckers the shelves in the stores would be empty.then what would they do? there would be no gas or food delivered without you guys
-
So what your saying is all the slobs and dirty azzz drivers can just throw out there pi$$ bottle where ever they like and it should be excused cause they deliver all the products and goods in the stores????????
-
Yeah, I do get it. I also get that if Wal-Mart put their foot down and told the guy to back off the trucks or enjoy collecting rent on an empty lot (they own the building), he'd probably rethink his position real quick.windsmith Thanks this.
