I started out with Millis and stayed on with them for two years. I went through their school near Cinci, Oh. They treated me well and were good at getting me home when I requested the time off. Got me home quickly for two seperate family emergencies also, no questions asked except how my family was doing. My dispacher loved me because I stayed out for four to six weeks between home times (my choice to maximize earning potential). My weekly miles were decent. The equipment was newer KW's and maintained well. This was five years ago and I can not tell you how the company has changed since I worked there. They do have EOBR's now and I don't know how that has affected the dispaching and the drivers. Hauled beer, bottles, and paper. I left Millis to take a driving job that was near where I lived and got me home each weekend.

I have been driving for Millis OTR for 3 months. Attended Cartersville in January. Very good company, plenty of miles, good equipment and having fun.

Millis sucks!!!!!
Just kidding. Millis is a pretty good company. It's where I got my start and I'd go back in a heartbeat if they ran the lanes I like to run. Good equipment, decent loads and pay. You can do a lot worse than Millis Transfer. So why chance it? -
Nice newer Kws,
Well maintained,
Decent regional miles,
3cpm bonus for 2000 miles
4cpm for 2500
5cpm for 3000
Sleep in my own bed 3 nights a week -

Just graduated the school In Trenton, Ohio. Excellent so far. Bill knows his stuff. Hit the road tomorrow with my road trainer. But no complaints here. If you have never driven anything with a stick you better learn quick. I think it was day 3 I was in a truck doing training laps. its almost like an 8 week course crammed into three. But by far worth it.

I started my career with Millis some 18 years 7 months ago, if I only knew then what I know now...
Did Mikey ever get himself cleaned up or is he still a coke snorting little puke ? My dispatcher was Jay he was another prize, I look back at the crap he pulled on me because I was a rookie who knew nothing, wow. Class A douchebag he was.
Fond memories of my millis experience..
