Come on ORD you have to cheer up. Everything isn't' so serious. Have fun. Somebody ask a crazy question you give them crazy answers. Is this guy really going to act like he never seen a truck driver with a tat, and ear rings. You have to use common sense sometime. This is trucking. We can't hold your hand and tell you its ok to think for yourself. Is this guy really going to change clothes and take off ear rings every time he comes into the yard. But again common sense isn't so common these days.

I'm not sure common sense is the correct words. Of course i've seen truckers with tats and earrings, however they also work for horrible companies. I didn't ask anyone to hold my hand or to think for me. From my understanding this is the "ask your questions about prime here" thread. There are several companies that don't/wont hire people with tats and earring. i.e TMC and McElroy.

Umm could I ask how many ear rings you have? Are you one of those guys who have piercings all over your face nose, chin, lip etc?

Dennis_Miller, this kind of response is called trolling. If the respondant were to take this advice, he'd be put on a bus and kicked out of orientation. In the future please refrain from this kind of childish response.Newtrucker83 Thanks this.

So are jeans and a sport/polo shirt okay or should I bring my khakis and a navy blazer and a -- *gasp* -- tie?
-
Jeans and T shirts are fine.

Almost there!!! Soon youll be on the road!!
A nice pair of jeans and a nice tshirt, both free of tears, rips, stains etc... will be fine. Also make sure anything printed on the shirt is not outragous or inappropriate -
Wow no stains goodness gracious.
