    @scaniaman

is your r620 higher than 4m?

i was looking at some UK spec heavy haulers also rated for 150-180t and they are all way above 4m mostly 407cm did you ever had problems because of that

Yeah she's running just under 4.1m , the front axle is straight and it's got an aircon unit in the roof, I've had the loads measured in Germany and holland but none ever thought to measure the cab , it will set off the height lights on the Rotterdam ring road tunnel but it still goes thru !

here on some spots you will have problems even with normal trucks all mega and tandem combination had to be lowered and carefully pass

our army need to unload tanks to pass one tunnel than police complain to drivers why they are damaging road with tanks

i dont know reason why they have straight axle

scania offers 3 different front axles rated for 9t one straight one semi drop and one drop

maybe because of ground clearance while off road

is it 410 with air condition or without ?

air condition is if i remember good 13cm

    Scania man Thanks this.

he fall on cab on this image he was already drawn out for wrecking , friend of my father deals with wrecking with cranes.....and few years ago i was on his parking when he bring turkish fh12 first generation truck was unrecognizable driver dies also get of the road like this one.... so this one had luck

turkish drivers are ones which cause most of accidents on our roads they are exhausted driving too much hours they always sleep while drive

on this highway a3 since october no one had accident which is record usually every month or two somebody get of the road or crash

    Scania man Thanks this.

With aircon, it's fairly slimline and isn't that much higher than the windbreaker! She def rides way higher than normal trucks!

hm i would not agree on this wheelbase have lot of with comfort , just remember that rigid scanias are not that terrible

also i guess this truck was reffer or box body?

if yes that maybe reason why it is uncomfortable

box or reffer bodies are very rigid and does not allow any bending on frame

type of bodywork affect comfort a lot , even two completly same trucks with different bodies for same use can result in big difference

also things how load is spread on chassis makes difference (mean chassis vs tractor )
